Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Corporate Data & Analytics team. This role combines business partnership, analytics development, and data engineering to deliver scalable, governed data solutions across the organization, supporting enterprise analytics, self-service, and AI-enabled experiences.

You will work with stakeholders to define KPIs, build end-to-end data products in Microsoft Fabric, create semantic models, and deliver dashboards via Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, data analytics, eng, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or similar.
• Ability to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate needs into technical specs.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational/analytical data.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand processes, goals, and reporting needs.
• Lead discovery and requirements, document rules, data definitions, use cases, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions including semantic models and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain reusable data products and semantic models for Power BI and AI-ready consumption.
• Design data pipelines, lakehouses, and data layers in Fabric environment.
