Job summary

Harnham in the United States is seeking an analytics engineer to own the journey from semantic models to customer‑facing analytics products. You will build and scale analytics products using Snowflake, dbt and Looker, shaping KPIs and partnering with Product to define the analytics strategy.

This is a hands-on, product‑focused role with AI tooling and governance, offering exposure to senior leadership and external customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Analytics Engineering, BI Engineering, Data Analytics or similar
• Strong Snowflake experience
• Looker expertise or exposure to semantic-layer tooling
• Experience building analytics products, not just dashboards
• Comfortable partnering with Product and business stakeholders
• Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows

Snowflake, Looker & AI-Powered Analytics

I'm partnered with a global, technology-led business undergoing a major data and AI transformation. Following significant investment and leadership backing, they're building next-generation analytics products used by both internal stakeholders and thousands of external customers worldwide.

This isn't a traditional Analytics Engineer role.

You'll act as both a technical expert and business partner, owning the journey from semantic models through to customer-facing analytics products.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and scaling analytics products using Snowflake, dbt and Looker
• Designing semantic models and defining meaningful business KPIs
• Working closely with Product to shape analytics strategy and roadmap
• Partnering closely with business partners as a vertical analytics specialist e.g. Transactional Data, Finance etc.
• Developing embedded and customer-facing analytics experiences
• Leveraging AI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate analytics development
• Driving governance, performance optimisation, and self-service analytics capabilities
