Broadstone Net Lease, Inc. is seeking an Analytics Engineer to support a modern automated data platform.

You will build data pipelines, models, and APIs powering reporting, analytics, and internal applications—collaborating with stakeholders to design dashboards and scalable data products that drive decisions. You will leverage AI tooling to accelerate development, participate in infrastructure planning, and work with Finance & Business Analytics teams to automate processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years of data analytics/engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI and building data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, DevOps or similar.
• Ability to design dashboards and scalable data products.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and design dashboards and scalable data products that answer real questions.
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines ingesting data from internal systems and external vendor APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL; contribute to database design, schema and data modeling.

The Analytics Engineer will support the development of Broadstone Net Leases modern automated data platform by building data pipelines models and APIs that power reporting business analytics and internal applications across the organization The individual will leverage their interest in understanding how our business works in partnership with internal teams to support and implement durable scalable data solutions in addition to related projects and initiatives The ideal candidate will work analytically communicate effectively prioritize multiple projects and demonstrate the ability to succeed in a dynamic growing environment This position reports to the Director Corporate Finance & Business Analytics

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and design dashboards analytics and scalable data products that answer real questions and drive decisions
• Build and maintain automated data pipelines that ingest data from internal systems and external vendor APIs
• Write and optimize SQL and contribute to database design schema and data modeling and warehouse architecture
• Leverage AI coding tools eg Claude Code codex to accelerate development while reading understanding and validating all AI generated code taking full ownership of the correctness and quality of work reaching production
• Integrate LLMAI capabilities into BNL solutions where needed
• Develop and evaluate options in infrastructure planning to support new applications and technologies
• Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and design dashboards analytics and scalable data products that answer real questions and drive decisions
• Partner with analysts and business teams to convert manual processes into automated reusable data products the organization relies on
• Executes duties and maintains standards in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Additional duties as required
• Overtime hours may be required as job duties demand

Skills Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Python and SQL programming languages
• Cloud platform exposure; Azure strongly preferred
• Ownership mindset with a drive to convert complex manual problems into durable automated solutions
• Business curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how the business works with a focus on building analytics that solve real problems
• Self starter with a proven ability to work independently demonstrating resourcefulness in problem solving and decision making
• Excellent organization and planning skills; ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and follow through in a timely manner
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of technical knowledge
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
• Solid work ethic and a professional proactive and positive approach to work
• EducationExperience Bachelors degree in Applied Statistics Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or related discipline from a four year accredited college or university required1 3 years of data software or analytics engineering experience
• Familiarity with Power BI including building datasets
• Azure Data Factory Functions or DevOps experience strongly preferred
• Experience building APIs with FastAPI or consuming external data APIs a plus
• Experience integrating LLMAI APIs or with AI assisted development a plus
• Azure WebApp services a plus
• Interest in finance real estate or Real Estate Investment Trusts REITs desired

The base salary range for this role is 65000 80000 This range is Broadstones good faith estimate of the annual base salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting The stated salary range does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role such as performance based cash bonuses and restricted stock grants There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individuals experience skillset relevant education & certifications job related knowledge location and other relevant factors identified through the recruitment & selection process
