Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data & analytics professional to design and maintain data models powering supply chain and merchandising decisions in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as the data expert across multiple domains, partnering with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to deliver durable models and self-serve tooling.

You’ll own data integrity and transformation logic, build Looker dashboards, and support CRM analytics and campaign reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
3+ years building data models integrating disparate data sources (e.g., dbt).
Expert in SQL and database table design.
Advanced Excel skills.
1+ years building and maintaining Looker or equivalent dashboards.
Strong analytical judgment and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with ETL/ELT tooling; dbt preferred.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, big data, and analytics platforms.
Experience with marketing/CRM analytics and supply chain data.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another quantitative discipline
3+ years of experience building data models that integrate complex and disparate data sources, using tools such as dbt
Expert in SQL and database table design
Advanced Excel skills
1+ years building and maintaining reporting and dashboards in Looker or a comparable BI tool
Strong analytical judgment
Excellent communication skills
Top-notch organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience with ETL/ELT tooling, with dbt preferred
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, big data technologies, and analytics platforms
Snowflake, Redshift, and/or Azure experience strongly preferred
Exposure to supply chain, inventory, merchandise planning, or allocation data
Experience with marketing or CRM analytics
Experience with demand planning or ERP systems such as JustEnough or Kinaxis
Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools
Alcohol beverage or CPG category experience is a plus

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in building and maintaining data models and reporting tools, with a strong focus on data integrity and analytics. Proficient in SQL, Looker, and ETL/ELT processes, with experience in supply chain and marketing analytics.
