Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior data and reporting lead in New York to unify forecast, inventory, and order data, and partner with IT to automate reporting. You will deliver actionable insights, build real-time stock and order dashboards, and drive KPI-driven decisions across supply chain teams.

The role requires 7+ years in data analytics or operations, strong ERP knowledge (SAP/Anaplan/Oracle/NetSuite), and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Operations or related field.
• 7+ years in business operations, data analytics, demand planning, or cross-functional roles.
• Experience with ERP and forecasting systems (SAP, Anaplan, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Expert Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, VBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and unify data and reporting streams for forecast, inventory, and customer order data.

• Maintain analytical tools for supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Develop supplier scorecard methodology for vendor performance visibility.

• Stay informed about supply chain best practices, technologies, and regulatory requirements
• Support cross-functional initiatives by scoping requirements, building timelines, and ensuring follow-through
• Track project progress with procurement, logistics, planning, and IT stakeholders
• Report to the Director of Supply Chain and Customer Service

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Operations, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in business operations, data analytics, demand planning, or similar cross-functional roles
• Working knowledge of ERP and demand forecasting systems, such as SAP, Anaplan, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Expert-level Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and VBA (a plus)
• Strong experience working with large datasets and translating them into analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of supply chain principles
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
• Ability to understand how data is constructed and represents intended information
• Self-starter with critical thinking skills, curiosity, high integrity, and a collaborative attitude
• Experience with dashboard creation using Power BI, Tableau, or similar is desired
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is desired
• Familiarity with AI tools, NetSuite, Airtable, and Zendesk is desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to initiate action and use data to support business direction
• Ability to work with changing timelines and deadlines
• Professional and comfortable interacting with internal and external parties
