Job summary

Elder Research Inc. seeks a Client Engagement Manager to join our team in Charlottesville, VA or Raleigh, NC. You will drive analytics delivery by managing client relationships and coordinating with data scientists, engineers, and software teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication to align client needs with our analytics roadmap and to grow a diverse client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or other technical field.
• Multi-year experience with project management and/or software development lifecycles.
• Multi-year experience managing and delivering complex projects.
• Multi-year experience in the consulting industry and managing client engagements.
• Multi-year experience growing and expanding business portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting support and guidance to data science and engineering teams on business analysis, technology approach, analytic solutions, project management process (scope, schedule, cost), and client engagement to drive delivery success.
• Monitor critical metrics like utilization, burn rate, timeline, and risk.
• Facilitate client engagements and relationships in partnership with other ERI leaders.
• Work with Directors and Vice Presidents to review growth and expansion opportunities.
• Create project proposals (scope, level of effort estimates, schedules), statements of work, and price proposals for new work and expansions to existing work.
• Maintain and communicate a solid understanding of analytics and data science techniques, tools, approaches, methodologies, and solutions.
