Job summary
AMVAC U.S. is seeking a Scientist, Analytical Sciences to develop, validate and optimize analytical methods supporting manufacturing, development and regulatory activities.
The role involves design and execution of analytical testing, characterization of products and impurities, and collaboration with R&D, Process Chemistry, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams. The successful candidate will work in a GLP/GMP environment, lead complex investigations, and stay current with analytical
Qualifications
- MS in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field; PhD preferred.
- MS with 5+ years of relevant experience; PhD with 0–5 years industrial experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in analytical method development, validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting process development, manufacturing investigations and impurity characterization.
- Expertise with chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and other modern analytical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute analytical testing and characterization of products and materials.
- Lead method development, validation, and support for manufacturing facilities.
- Mentor junior scientists and laboratory personnel in analytical methods.
