Job summary

Virtue America is seeking an entry-level Analytical Development Associate to support analytical method development, laboratory testing, and product characterization in a pharmaceutical setting. The role targets recent graduates with a background in Chemistry or related fields and offers exposure to analytical testing and documentation.

Responsibilities include supporting method development, routine lab testing, and data management while adhering to GLP, GDP, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in analytical development or pharmaceutical lab testing.
• Familiarity with GMP/cGMP, GLP, and GDP.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support analytical method development, optimization, and qualification activities.
• Perform routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Assist with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and dissolution testing.
• Prepare samples, standards, reagents, buffers, and laboratory solutions.
• Support method validation, method verification, and analytical method transfer activities.
• Assist with pharmaceutical product characterization and stability testing.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret laboratory data to support analytical studies.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory notebooks, analytical reports, test results, and technical documentation.
• Follow approved SOPs, GLP, and GDP.
