Job summary
MilliporeSigma is seeking a temporary contract on the Process and Analytical Development team at its viral vector CDMO facility in Carlsbad, CA. The role focuses on execution and development of analytical assays to support process development for innovative viral vector therapeutics.
The candidate will perform analytical testing using UHPLC, CE systems, and SEC-MALS/FFF-MALS, develop methods, generate worksheets and reports, and collaborate with internal and external partners to advance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in chemistry/biochemistry or life sciences.
- 7+ years in biopharmaceutical industry.
- Master’s with 5+ years in biopharma.
- Ph.D. with 3+ years in biopharma.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing with UHPLC, CE, and related systems.
- Develop methods for process development of viral vectors.
- Generate worksheets, reports, and method transfer documents.
- Communicate with internal and external partners on technical guidance.
- Independently design and execute experiments.
- Analyze complex data and interpret results.
