Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Scientist for our client, a pharmaceutical company, to join the Ridgefield, CT team in an onsite, 12‑month contract. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have hands-on experience with aSEC and LC-MS.

Responsibilities include managing reagents for analytical assays, performing characterization, coordinating equipment calibrations and safety inspections, and presenting results to cross‑functional teams while adhering to SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with aSEC and LC-MS techniques.
• Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills for cross-functional work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn lab software.

Responsibilities

• Support management and characterization of reagents for bioanalytical assays.
• Handle inventory, receipt, tracking, storage and discrepancy resolution.
• Perform analytical characterization (concentration, aSEC, LC-MS) and document in electronic notebooks.
• Coordinate equipment calibrations, safety inspections and off-site storage tasks.
• Report scientific findings to cross-functional teams, ensuring SOPs and safety rules.
