Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a highly motivated analytical chemistry researcher to design, execute, and document experiments under guidance. You will optimize LC and GC method conditions, including MS detectors, and perform sample testing with thorough data analysis and reporting.

The role requires hands-on LC/GC instrumentation experience, HRMS and prep LC familiarity, and strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and IT data-management skills are essential for drafting reports and

Qualifications

MS or PhD in analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceutical science, or related field.
Experience in a laboratory environment with basic lab skills (pipetting, solution prep, centrifugation, filtration).
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with LC and GC instrumentation and method development.
Experience with HRMS and prep LC is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and motivation to learn.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Proficiency in IT tools and data management platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and document experiments under guidance.
Optimize analytical method conditions for LC and GC, coupled with MS and other detectors.
Perform sample testing, analyze data, interpret results, and document results.
Troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation issues.
Draft technical reports and protocols.
Participate in meetings to learn advancements in analytical technologies for small molecule and oligonucleotide therapeutics.
