Job summary

Doctor’s Data, Inc. seeks a Technical Chemistry Scientist to drive the development and optimization of testing methods for metabolic health in our patient population. This hands-on role focuses on chromatography and advanced instrumentation in a collaborative scientific setting.

The candidate will perform sample prep, analyze data for accuracy, and contribute to method improvements while following quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of analytical chemistry experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with chromatographic techniques and analytical instrumentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chromatographic instrumentation (LC‑MS, HPLC, GC).
• Support analytical research, method development, and optimization of chromatographic analyses.
• Perform sample preparation and operate analytical instrumentation per procedures.
• Analyze, review, and interpret laboratory data for accuracy and quality.
• Assist with identifying and resolving analytical or instrumentation issues.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
