Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Scientist to support the Cellular Therapy product portfolio with hands-on laboratory work in bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology. The successful candidate will have 6+ years of analytical experience, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to travel to other BMS sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• 6+ years of analytical experience in GMP, cellular therapy, or gene therapy.
• Experience with bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology methods.
• Hands-on lab experience and method lifecycle knowledge.
• Understanding of FDA/EMA/ICH/USP/EP guidelines.
• Strong technical writing and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to other BMS sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide bioassay, flow cytometry and/or molecular biology analytical expertise in support of QC lab investigations.
• Independently execute experimental work with high proficiency, contribute to data analysis and documentation.
• Present findings to team and assist in internal reports and presentations.
• Support transfer of commercial methods and method validation per regulatory requirements.
• Stewardship of bioassay, flow cytometry and molecular methods in Cell Therapy Quality.
• Implement method lifecycle and maintenance programs for cell therapy products.
• Author, revise, and review test methods, SOPs and investigation reports.
• May lead projects, CAPA and deviation/investigation tasks and continuous improvement.
