Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Associate Scientist to optimize the Biopharma/R&D organization. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop products, perform analytical testing and support method transfer under supervision in Bridgewater, NJ.

The role requires hands-on wet chemistry/organic techniques, knowledge of cGMP/Regulatory expectations and strong data analysis with software tools. On-site work, with a focus on product characterization and process optimization to ensure quality and

Qualifications

• Education: MSc or BSc in organic/inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry, chemical engineering and analytical chemistry or relevant field.
• Experience: MSc with 3+ years of industrial hands-on analytical method development and product characterization.
• BSc with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analytical testing for product characterization, optimization and release testing under supervision.
• Interface with project teams to support objectives and resolve product/process issues.
• Develop, validate and transfer analytical methods to QC labs for finished goods release and stability studies.
