Job summary

RJ Lee Group, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support sample receiving for our Analytical Chemistry and X-ray Diffraction groups. You will log, inspect, and route samples using LIMS and ensure proper chain of custody.

The role requires attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; some interaction with clients and transport between RJLG facilities may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with LIMS and data-entry platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage discrepancies.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and inspect incoming samples per SOPs.
• Enter sample data into LIMS (ChemLIMS/eLIMS) accurately.
• Verify chain of custody and labeling.
• Resolve discrepancies by contacting clients promptly.
• Coordinate sample splitting, shipment, and basic wet chemistry measurements.
• Assist with invoicing and invoice review.
