Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Houston is seeking a research scientist to independently conduct method development and analytical testing on pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and OTC products under leadership.

You will perform analytical method development, validation, transfer, and conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of routine and non-routine samples. Collaboration with leadership will support root cause analysis for OOS results.

Qualifications

• Performs analytical method development, optimization, validation, and transfer activities.
• Conducts qualitative and quantitative testing of routine and non-routine samples.
• Reviews and interprets unexpected or out-of-specification results; participates in root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment; ensure instruments operate within performance guidelines.
• Stay current with emerging analytical technologies and instrumentation, with emphasis on HPLC in pharma.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation including test procedures, results, project reports, SOPs, and technical documentation per regulatory standards.
• Comply with cGMP and cGLP guidelines; support audits as required.
• Coordinate project activities with supervisor/manager; track deadlines and communicate risks and schedule changes.
