Job summary

NSP is seeking a Research Scientist to develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. You will design experiments to support method development, maintain validation documentation, and collaborate with Quality and cross-functional teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC/GC-MS, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, plus strong data interpretation skills and knowledge of chromatographic software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field; 3–4 years of relevant experience; Master's: 1–2 years; Ph.D.: Early career acceptable.
  • Experience in analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatographic and analytical techniques, including HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC/GC-MS and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
  • Working knowledge of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, statistical data interpretation, laboratory systems, and chromatographic software; OpenLab experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of botanical or natural products preferred.

Job description

The Research Scientist is responsible for the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods supporting the quality evaluation of raw materials, in process materials and finished products. This role utilizes a range of analytical techniques - including HPLC, HPLC-MS, GC, GC-MS and UV-Vis to ensure methods are scientifically sound, compliant, and suitable for routine quality control use.

The position collaborates closely with Quality and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and efficient analytical testing. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities
