Job summary

Avidity Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate to support analytical laboratory operations in a fast-paced biotech setting. The role focuses on routine HPLC/UHPLC testing, method development, and documentation to advance RNA therapeutics programs.

The candidate will manage inventory, coordinate equipment maintenance, and assist with shipping/receiving while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure laboratory readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant lab experience in biotech/pharma/life sciences.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC/UHPLC and chromatography techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing using HPLC/UHPLC with UV/Vis and fluorescence detection.
• Develop and troubleshoot chromatographic methods (SEC, SAX, SCX, RP-HPLC) for oligonucleotides and biomolecules.
• Maintain accurate lab records and documentation; support equipment, inventory, shipping and receiving.
