Job summary

Codexis, Inc. in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Research Associate IV to join the Attribute Sciences group. The role focuses on analytical method development, validation, and transfer to support product development, with on-site responsibilities at the Redwood City facility.

The candidate will work with a high-performing team on day-to-day lab workflows, data processing, and presentation of results to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology with 6+ years in lab settings or MS with 4+ years.
• Experience with HPLC-UV-MS, UV-Vis, ELISA and CE-SDS.
• Strong documentation and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analytical method development experiments.
• Process, evaluate, and interpret experimental data.
• Perform analytical testing of finished products and development samples.
• Contribute to method validation and transfer activities.
• Present data at team and cross-functional levels.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and inventory.
