Job summary

Codexis Inc. in Redwood City, CA seeks a Research Associate IV to join the Attribute Sciences group within Technical Operations. You will support analytical method development, validation and transfer, with day-to-day lab workflows in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include planning experiments, data processing, and presenting results while maintaining instruments and inventory. On-site role with competitive benefits and a focus on quality and collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biology with 6+ years in lab setting or MS with 4+ years.
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HPLC-UV-MS, UV-Vis, ELISA and CE-SDS in analytical development.
• Good documentation practices and data integrity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute analytical method development with team.
• Process data, evaluate results and draw conclusions.
• Conduct analytical testing of finished products and development samples.
• Support method development, validation and transfer activities.
• Present data to team and cross-functional groups.
• Maintain lab instruments and manage inventory of samples, reagents and supplies.
