Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Lead Scientist (Analytical) in Round Rock, TX to perform analytical testing of finished products, raw materials, and in-process samples, and to develop investigational strategies for OOS investigations. You will lead method development and validations, operate analytical instrumentation, and ensure audit-ready QC laboratory practices.

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD in chemistry or life sciences with 4+ years in related field.
Experience with ISO 9001/17025/17034; GLP/GMP environments.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write procedures and OOS reports.

Responsibilities

Perform analytical testing of finished products, raw materials, custom projects, and in-process samples.
Develop and execute investigational strategies in OOS investigations and write OOS reports.
Lead or participate in method development.
Lead and participate in analytical method validations and technical studies.
Perform instrument qualifications and maintenance/troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
Improve processes, procedures and systems.
Maintain the QC Laboratory in audit readiness with a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to quality requirements and work in compliance with policies and procedures, including controlled substances.
Work in accordance with safety policies and procedures and actively promote safety.
