Job summary

Russell Tobin is partnering with a leading Material Science organization in Cottage Grove, MN to hire a Laboratory Technician. You will perform analytical testing, calibrate instruments, and support quality control while communicating testing status across teams.

Experience with GC and LC, data reporting, and a solid foundation in quality principles are required. The role follows a 12-hour rotating shift and is a 1-year contract, onsite in Cottage Grove.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or higher; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with laboratory data reporting and analysis systems.
• Proficiency with titrations, GC, and LC including sample prep.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report analytical testing of products, materials, and samples.
• Calibrate analytical instrumentation and support QA activities.
• Evaluate new test methods and support measurement systems.
• Prioritize testing and QC tasks in a fast-paced lab.
• Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and technicians on testing status and OOS results.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and escalate issues when needed.
