Idaho Pacific Corporation is seeking aLab Technician to test the physical and chemical properties of in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. The role may support R&D activities and calibration of lab equipment.

You will perform routine analyses, compile data, interpret results, report anomalies, maintain records, and support various QC programs including fats, BHT, heavy metals, and pesticides testing.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine and non-routine analyses.
• Ability to interpret results against specifications and provide information to production.
• Must follow GMP/GLP and Food Safety guidelines.
• Competency in recording test results and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analyses of materials and finished products.
• Compile data and perform quality analyses.
• Interpret results against specifications and inform production.
• Report questionable results and assist corrective actions.
• Maintain legible records of testing and logs.
• Manage fats, BHT, heavy metals, and pesticides testing programs.
• Prepare USDA products for inspection and shipment.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Ensure GMP/GLP and Food Safety compliance.
• Support safety training and incident reporting.
