Job summary

PetIQ is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join our QA team in Utah. You will assist the QA Lab Manager and QA Director in food safety and cGMP compliance, and support laboratory testing, documentation, and environmental monitoring activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining organized work areas, logging EMP results, verifying lab equipment, collecting samples, and supporting third-party testing processes.

Qualifications

• Must understand cGMPs and food safety requirements.
• Direct experience in FDA regulated industries in Food or Pharma is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Lab Manager and QA Director in food safety and compliance.
• Document EMPs and prepare logs for testing.
• Verify lab equipment such as pH meters, thermometers, and scales.
• Participate in daily product sample display and third-party testing processes.
• Maintain organized and clean work area and follow safety standards.
