Located at the Munitions & Government Texarkana office, the role requires meticulous attention to SOPs, instrument calibration, data reporting, and collaboration with chemists across sites.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• AA in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• BA/BS in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of laboratory analysis experience required.
• Background checks or third-party requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed chemical and physical analyses of samples according to SOPs.
• Perform maintenance on laboratory instruments including calibration.
• Document test data and communicate findings clearly in reports.
• Collaborate to develop and refine analytical methods referencing standards.
• Provide technical assistance to chemists at other sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and proper chemical disposal.
• Participate in continuous improvement training.
