Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Williams Lab is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support analytical experiments in the College of Pharmacy. This 19-hour weekly student position begins ASAP and runs through Spring 2027 with flexible scheduling around classes.

You will perform sample preparation, run HPLC and other analytical methods, prepare buffers, and record inventory while assisting with ongoing projects in the lab.

Qualifications

• Experience making sample preparations and analyzing them by HPLC.
• Prior work in a research/analytical/testing laboratory (commercial or academic).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and testing using HPLC and other analytical methods.
• Prepare buffer solutions, mobile phases for experiments.
• Prepare samples and run DSC and XRD
• Prepare samples and measure pH
• Record inventory of laboratory supplies
