Markent Personnel, Inc. seeks a seasoned QC Laboratory Leader to guide a 24/7 specialty chemical manufacturing QA/QC operation.

The role oversees laboratory operations, analytical testing, quality systems, and team development in partnership with Production to ensure product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

BS or MS in Chemistry or related field with 5+ years in Analytical/Quality Control in chemical/pharma/fpp manufacturing.
3+ years of proven laboratory leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and testing methods.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with LIMS, JD Edwards (Oracle), or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a QC Laboratory team and manage daily operations.
Support 24/7 manufacturing by prioritizing workflow and resources for timely results.
Perform and interpret analytical testing (HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, NMR).
Oversee organic analytics and wet chemistry testing of materials and finished products.
Review data, authorize product release, and ensure data integrity in ERP/LIMS.
Lead root cause investigations, CAPA, and method improvements.
Maintain SOPs, analytical methods, specifications, and ISO/QMS compliance.
Manage resources, instrumentation, training, and performance to support production goals.
