Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a hands-on QC Laboratory Leader to direct a 24/7 analytical operation in a specialty chemical setting. You will oversee laboratory operations, analytical testing, quality systems, and team development while partnering with Production to ensure product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

You will mentor a team, drive continuous improvement, manage CAPA and data integrity in ERP/LIMS, and ensure ISO/QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Analytical/Quality Control in chemical, pharma, or food processing environments.
• Minimum 3+ years in people leadership, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with analytical testing and laboratory instrumentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, and regulatory compliance; documentation practices.
• Experience with LIMS and ERP systems (JD Edwards or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the QC Laboratory team and oversee daily operations.
• Support 24/7 manufacturing by prioritizing workflow and ensuring timely results.
• Perform and interpret analytical testing using listed instrumentation.
• Oversee organic analytical and wet chemistry testing for materials and finished products.
• Review data, authorize product release, and maintain ERP/LIMS data integrity.
• Drive root cause investigations, CAPA, method improvements, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, SOPs, methods, specifications, and ISO/QMS compliance.
• Manage resources, instrumentation, training, and performance to meet production goals.
