Grace is seeking an Analytical Lab Leader to join the Refining Catalysts R&D team at the Process Innovation Center (PIC) in Baltimore, MD. This role oversees the Analytical Laboratories in Baltimore and Columbia, MD, leading chemists and technicians to deliver high-quality data supporting business objectives.

The position includes initiating the design and startup of the new PIC lab, then transitioning to ongoing operations, with travel up to 10% and a focus on safety, quality systems, and

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with relevant lab leadership experience.
• Experience in analytical method development, validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong data analysis and statistical interpretation skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily operations of the ART Petroleum Lab in Baltimore MD and support the lab team.
• Provide technical leadership for the FCC analytical lab in Columbia, MD.
• Maintain instruments, qualifications, calibration, and records with compliant documentation.
• Ensure quality-system compliance and lab best practices.
• Lead method development, validation, implementation, and data interpretation.
