Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Chemical Lab Equipment Technician to ensure continuous operation and precision of our analytical laboratories. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and first‑line troubleshooting on instruments such as ICP‑MS, GC‑MS, and HPLC.

Collaborate with Facilities and vendors to minimize downtime and uphold safety and quality standards. On-site in Phoenix, you will coordinate lab construction, instrument hook‑ups, and SAT activities, while maintaining inventory

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Science in a related field.
• Strong familiarity with chemical hygiene, chemical safety (OSHA) and pressurized utility safety.
• Hands-on experience in a semiconductor cleanroom, high-tech manufacturing, or chemical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on analytical instruments (ICP-MS, GC-MS, IC, HPLC).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, document failures, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Assist in lab startup, equipment commissioning, and field inspections with Facilities teams.
