Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and laboratory studies or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of college lab studies plus 2 years of lab experience OR 4 years in manufacturing.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in science with required lab coursework.
• Ability to follow GMP and quality procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on raw ingredients, in-process, and finished product.
• Maintain quality system effectiveness and GMP compliance.
• Obtain and test environmental samples per lab methods.
• Maintain training documents and drive training.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor testing problems with supervisor support.
• Communicate status of responsibilities to supervisor and lead chemist.
• Identify out-of-spec conditions and participate in investigations.
