Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Analytical Development Scientist focused on synthetic molecules, including peptides and PROTACs, to support compound characterization and transition from Discovery to clinical phases.

You will design and execute physicochemical studies, lead polymorph screening, develop analytical methods for Drug Substance and Drug Product, and support regulatory filings. Travel around 5–10% and work based in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred for higher responsibility.
• Experience with solid-state analytics and GMP labs is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with no minimum
• strong expertise in solid-state analytics (X-ray diffraction, calorimetry, microscopy), chromatographic techniques, and polymorphism
• GMP laboratory experience
• troubleshooting skills

• knowledge of peptides, PROTACs, in silico tools
