Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. is seeking an Analytical Development Scientist to join the Reagent and Analytical Development team in Pleasanton, CA.

The role focuses on developing and implementing QC assays and workflows for single cell and spatial biology products, with emphasis on analytical chemistry skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams domestically and internationally to ensure quality from concept to post-launch activities, and will contribute to DOE-driven

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Organic or Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• Experience designing, developing and implementing QC strategies from materials to finished products.
• Hands-on analytical chemistry and/or molecular biology techniques.
• Strong collaboration and ability to document and transfer assays to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and implement QC methods for molecular biology products across platforms.
• Design end-to-end QC strategies from raw materials to finished goods.
• Optimize and improve existing QC strategies and methods.
• Train QC teams domestically and internationally on analytical assays.
• Troubleshoot product formulation, storage, and quality-control issues.
• Design experiments using DOE to understand interactions and root causes.
• Document SOPs and present findings to cross-functional teams.
