Piper Companies is seeking an Associate Scientist – Analytical Development in Branchburg, NJ to support its Molecular Biology and Cell-Based Assays team. The role involves analytical method development, cell-based assays, and routine QC testing within GMP frameworks for advancing cell therapy programs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in analytical development, molecular biology, flow cytometry, or cell-based assays, and is comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with analytical development and method transfer.
• Experience with cell-based assays and flow cytometry.
• Familiarity with GMP laboratory practices.

Responsabilités

• Support method development, qualification, validation, and tech transfer to QC testing.
• Perform cell-based assays, flow cytometry, molecular biology, and other analytical tests.
• Execute GMP testing for product characterization, high-throughput work, and batch release.
• Conduct cell culture and aseptic lab procedures per established protocols.
• Assist troubleshooting, robustness tests, and procedural improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with Analytical Development, QC, and cross-functional teams on testing timelines.
• Assist investigations, deviations, and out-of-spec results as needed.
