Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking an analytical chemistry scientist to drive method development, validation, and testing strategies for supplement and powder platforms. You will partner with R&D, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, and external labs to analyze samples, interpret results, and enable launch readiness across RTD, powder, stick packs, and hydration formats.

The role emphasizes analytical readiness, data-driven decision making, and collaboration to resolve testing challenges and ensure safety

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with U.S. dietary supplement framework, including cGMP, identity testing, and adulteration risk
  • Experience with vitamin systems, amino acids, botanicals, caffeine systems, protein ingredients, or finished powder products
  • Awareness of sports nutrition risks, including adulteration, contaminants, banned substances, and supplier authenticity
  • Ability to assess external lab capabilities and ensure data are scientifically sound and decision-ready
  • Familiarity with powder characterization, including moisture, water activity, particle size, density, flowability, caking, and blend uniformity
  • Ability to influence through data, communicate clearly, and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate method development, validation, transfer for supplement actives and matrices (powders, blends, formats)
  • Apply sample preparation and method suitability judgment for challenging matrices
  • Contribute methods for identity, potency, impurity profiling, macronutrients, moisture, and stability testing
  • Enable analytical readiness for new material and ingredient integration
  • Assess technical risk for new-to-KDP ingredients, supplier variability, manufacturing sources
  • Partner with Regulatory and Supplier Quality to resolve documentation gaps and testing failures
  • Execute analytical testing strategies across RTD, powder, stick pack, hydration formats
  • Enable finished-good powder testing including moisture, density, and blend uniformity
  • Facilitate external lab engagement: method fit, data review, troubleshooting, OOS follow-up
  • Drive powder characterization: moisture, water activity, density, particle size, flowability, caking
  • Communicate analytical results, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Sensory, Product Development, Regulatory, Supplier Quality, Procurement, external labs
  • Provide input on test requirements, timelines, feasibility, and launch-readiness decisions
  • Contribute to standardizing methods, testing frameworks, playbooks, best practices
  • Enable scalable analytical capability across lab networks
