Job summary

Gerresheimer in New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support project work by operating SEM-EDS, FTIR, ICP-MS, and a universal tester, and to prepare materials per SOPs.

You will compile and analyze data, maintain calibration, assist in R&D experiments, and ensure safety and regulatory guidelines are followed. A Bachelor's in Laboratory Science and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating SEM-EDS, FTIR microscopy, and ICP-MS.
• Experience with UV-Vis spectrophotometer or universal tester is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Operate SEM-EDS, FTIR, ICP-MS, and universal tester equipment.
• Prepare materials for testing per SOPs and guidelines (USP, ICH).
• Document operation of analytical equipment.
• Compile and analyze data from analyses.
• Maintain calibration of lab equipment.
• Support R&D experiments and provide feedback on testing methods.
• Support GMS initiatives through team participation.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Perform fractographical analysis and defect identification.
