Job summary

Bentley Global Resources and Staffing Services seeks an entry-level Chemist I to support new product development with hands-on analytical work. You will perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using FTIR, ICP-MS, and LC-UV/LC-MS, and contribute to method development and data interpretation.

You will maintain laboratory instrumentation, assist in report writing, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards as part of a dynamic analytical team.

Responsibilities

• Apply chemistry knowledge to method development, data interpretation and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and review technical documents including protocols and data sheets.
• Ensure work complies with cGMP, regulatory standards and safe laboratory practices.

Job description

We are seeking a entry-level Chemist I with hands-on experience in analytical techniques including FTIR, ICP-MS, and LC-UV/LC-MS. The candidate will perform qualitative and quantitative analyses on a variety of sample types to support new product development.

Responsibilities also include assisting in method development, maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with laboratory protocols. The Chemist I will contribute to protocol and report writing, data interpretation, and general laboratory support activities.

Responsibilities may include:

• Performs routine and non-routine qualitative and quantitative analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as FTIR, ICP-MS, LC-UV/LC-MS, and others.
• Supports product development activities by executing analytical testing, compatibility studies, and development plans.
• Applies a strong understanding of underlying chemistry to method development, data interpretation, and troubleshooting analytical challenges.
• Conducts exploratory research to produce new knowledge and potential products; conceives, organizes, promotes, and executes ideas and plans to increase chemistry's role in and contribution to the discovery and chemical approaches to meet exploratory objectives in product discovery.
• Prepares and reviews technical documents including protocols, reports, and data sheets for analytical parameters.
• Conducts analytical work in compliance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and safe laboratory practices; documents any variances appropriately.
• Frequently applies regulatory standards to drug and device testing.
