Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of analytical techniques in material science.
• Experience with LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GPC, ESI, FTIR, NMR spectroscopy.
• Familiarity with FDA/ICH/USP/EP regulations; GMP/GLP or ISO lab experience; method development/validation desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong educational and publication credentials.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend inspections and perform analytical testing to address chemistry-related issues in materials.
• Conduct root cause analysis for failures across development, manufacturing and product use.
• Gather information and convey technical conclusions to engineering, business, law and industry teams.
• Oversee chromatography instrumentation and ensure ISO 9001/17025 compliance.
• Participate or lead laboratory safety programs.
