Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join our Analytical Chemistry team on a 9x80 schedule, onsite with every other Friday off. The role involves advancing analytical capabilities and collaborating with diverse scientists and engineers to drive research across nuclear science, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and radio bioassay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
• Level 2 requires 2 years of experience.
• Relevant experience in academia, private industry, or nuclear encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to advance analytical capabilities across chromatography, mass spectrometric detection, and radio bioassay.
• Design experiments to generate data supporting improvements.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, operations staff, and other technical resources.
• Interface with sponsors and prepare technical reports and proposals.
• Ensure QA/QC practices are implemented and assist in updating procedures.
