Job summary

Thorne is seeking an Analytical Chemist II to perform routine and advanced analytical testing in a QC laboratory environment. You will operate ICP-OES/ICP-MS, GC, HPLC, and LC-MS instruments, prepare samples, and ensure data integrity and cGMP compliance.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemistry with hands-on instrumentation experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work a four-day, 10-hour first shift (Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related field required.
• Degree must include chemistry coursework (12 credit hours).
• Experience with analytical lab instrumentation preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced analytical testing of materials and products.
• Operate analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES/ICP-MS, GC, HPLC, LC-MS) per SOPs.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and standards for testing.
• Maintain documentation with accuracy and traceability.
• Support Shift Lead and coordinate testing priorities.
