Job summary

Innophos in North Salt Lake is looking for a Chemist II to support the Lab Manager in overseeing daily analytical laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will perform chemical analyses, lead method development, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards. Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, managing nonconformance events, and providing training to junior staff. Qualifications

• 5+ years in a chemical lab with hands-on experience in analytical methods and instrumentation.
• Experience in method validation/verification and equipment troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in ISO 17025 compliance and project management.

Responsibilities

• Perform and develop chemical analyses on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain laboratory records and present findings with recommendations.
• Support root cause investigations for nonconformance events.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and lab equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
