Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, seeks a capable analyst to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis on APIs and finished products. You will run HPLC, ICP, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, TLC, and other equipment, prepare samples, and help validate new analytical methods.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field, US work authorization, and the ability to communicate technical lab details effectively.

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Must be able to communicate technical lab skills clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Run chromatographic systems and various analytical instruments independently.
• Prepare samples and set up/validate new analytical processes used by the department.
• Document work to GMP standards and assist with instrument maintenance.

Job Description

Employee Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels)
• Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
• Preparing samples for analysis and running some instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Execute method transfer protocols
• Document work as required for GMP compliance
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Must be able to speak well to technical lab skills

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, M-F 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
