Job summary

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) seeks an Analytical Chemist to support lithium-ion battery recycling and primary resource extraction at our McCarren, Nevada pilot plant. You will operate ICP-OES, IC, TOC, GC-FID/MS and related instrumentation, generate CoAs, and aid QA/QC across production streams.

Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to ensure safe lab operations, accurate sample preparation, and timely reporting of analytical data used to scale commercial battery materials.

Qualifications

Requires background in Analytical Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with laboratory instrumentation experience.
Experience operating GC, HPLC, TOC, IC/ICP and associated sample preparation.

Responsibilities

Operate routine analytical instrumentation (ICP-OES, IC, TOC, GC-FID/MS) per SOPs.
Analyze data, validate results, and prepare CoAs for final products.
Maintain lab supplies, equipment, and GLP-compliant records.
Train new analytical staff and support process design and implementation.

Bachelor's or higher in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
