Job summary

Redwood Materials in Sparks, Nevada is seeking an Analytical Laboratory Technician to perform routine chemical and laboratory analyses in support of production quality and safety. You will execute SOPs/TCMs, handle samples, operate basic instruments and maintain records in a fast-paced facility.

The role develops foundational proficiency in analytical methods, lab information systems, and safety, building toward independent operation while collaborating with team members to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field or 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in laboratory settings, quality settings, or chemical production facilities.
• Experience with data entry, management and good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.
• Assist with routine chemical, metrological, and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including troubleshooting and verifications.
• Work in a production environment, sampling and testing physical characteristics.
• Support lab organization, safety audits, and special projects.
