Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Mountain House, California is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure test coverage for web, mobile, and enterprise applications. You will translate business requirements, functional specs, and user stories into well-designed test cases and validate end-to-end processes.

Work with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to clarify requirements, perform UAT, regression, and system testing, and track defects to closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in manual/automation QA testing preferred.
• Proficient at translating requirements into test cases and validating software quality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, specifications, and user stories to ensure test coverage.
• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for web, mobile, and enterprise apps.

• Design, develop, and execute functional test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Validate end-to-end business processes, system integrations, and application functionality to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, regression testing, system testing, and defect retesting to ensure application readiness.
• Track, document, and report defects using test management and defect tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing methodologies, and quality metrics.
