Job summary

An IT services company in South Carolina is looking for a Mid-Senior level professional to maintain a portfolio of technologies. Base pay range

$55.00/hr - $57.26/hr

Description: Maintain a portfolio of one or more hardware and/or software technologies, products, and/or processes including standards of use, life cycles, and/or product evaluation and integration. Develop and maintain an in-depth pool of technical advice and expertise to provide information and guidance of the infrastructure assigned.

Duties
  • 40% - Perform technical interviews and analysis with vendors and/or stakeholders to develop and track road maps and life cycles for hardware, software, products, and/or processes. Schedule regular meetings, calls, or site visits. Review upcoming activities and stay current on all factors impacting lifecycle.
  • 40% - Facilitate development, implementation, and maintenance of best practices, policies, standards, and desktop procedures used by operational units for each technology or product.
  • 20% - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, operations, architecture, and management staff.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of a variety of information technology products and solutions.
  • Excellent research, customer service, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the IT organization.
Education / Experience
  • 4 Years specific knowledge of the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes to be supported.
  • 1 Year directly supporting the technology(s), product(s), and/or processes (may be concurrent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR 4 years job‑related experience OR 2 years job‑related experience + Associate's degree in CS/IT.
