The Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks an Analyst for Tax Favored Programs in New York. You will assist in administering 401(k), 457, FSA, and Commuter benefits across agencies, analyze data from PeopleSoft, and respond to employee inquiries to ensure timely, accurate HR and payroll interactions.
Qualifications include a BA/BS in business, accounting, or HR and at least 1 year in payroll/benefits. Telework eligibility is a part-time option, with standard hours 8:30am–5:00pm.

This position will assist in the administration of the Tax Favored Programs, which include the 401(k) Plan, 457 Plan, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Plan, and the Commuter Benefit Plan for all agencies of the MTA. The Analyst will access, analyze, and interpret data from our PeopleSoft system, answer employee inquiries, and be responsible for the accurate and timely flow of Financial, Payroll, and Human Resources interaction between employees, agencies, headquarters, and vendors. In addition, the Analyst will help to ensure the programs are following MTA guidelines, policies, objectives, and resolve vendor or file interface issues.
May need to work outside of normal work hours (i.e., evenings and weekends)
Travel may be required to other MTA locations or other external sites.
