Job overview and responsibilities
The Analyst – Social Media Insights & Reporting, will support social media data analysis and reporting for campaigns that promote United brand consideration, preference, and passion. This role will gather and track data from social media accounts, compile social media metrics, analyze data, generate insights, and make recommendations to support social media content effectiveness. This role will also support social media reporting needs for leadership and other internal stakeholders.
·Analytics
oSupport social media measurement and analytics within United’s Brand Marketing team with a focus on the Executive and Employee Social Media function
oGather and track data from social media accounts using native data tools, social media software, and dashboards
oCompile social media metrics like impressions, reach, engagement rate, click-through rate, and share rate across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms
oAnalyze data to assess social media content effectiveness
oGenerate insights based on creative concept, content format and length, and channel distribution
oProvide recommendations to Brand Marketing team to make data-driven decisions when crafting strategy and creative for executive, employee, and influencer social media channels
·Reporting
oDesign and deliver reports for United leadership and internal stakeholders
oMaintain United and industry social media benchmarks for reporting and campaign comparisons
oCompile social media results from executive, employee, and social influencers for email recaps, report decks, and ad hoc requests
oHelp translate data analysis into executive-level summaries and key takeaways
oContribute to integrated marketing communications reports and presentations
·Team operations
oSupport the Brand Marketing Operations team as needed
oLiaise with agency and software partners providing analytics services
oSupport the organizing and staffing of team events and meetings
oAssist with social media budget management and billing as needed
oStay up to date on best practices and measurement tools in the marketing and social media industries
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
·Bachelor’s Degree
·2+ years of experience in social media analytics or a similar function
·Knowledge of social and digital marketing measurement, tools, and vendors
·Demonstrated knowledge of various media channels (social, paid, earned, owned)
·Ability to translate data into learnings and insights for executive-level audiences
·Strong attention to detailand organizational skills
·Good written communication skills
·Self-starter who can work independently
·Ease of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
·Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
·Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
·Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
·Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
