Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to manage billing processes and claims. You will submit documentation, investigate denied claims, and transmit claims using our billing software.

The role requires 2+ years in revenue cycle management, strong Excel skills, and ICD-10 familiarity. You will work independently and with a team to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

  • HS, GED or bachelor’s in business-related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience within Revenue Cycle Management preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding
  • Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Prior EdgePark and/or Cardinal Health at Home Customer Operations preferred

Remote Hours: M-F 8:30-5:00 pm EST (or based on business needs)

Responsibilities
  • Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers
  • Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims
  • Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing

Compensation

Anticipated hourly range: $20.02 per hour - $25.78 per hour
