Summary

Job Description:

The Strategic Analyst, Insights & Operations, is part of the team responsible for supporting Parcel Operations, business development, Ryder clients, finance team, and parcel operations through analysis and review of pricing for new business and re-pricing existing business. The Analyst maintains computer models for analytical and pricing processes, including carrier-focused pricing and transit analysis. This role supports Parcel Operations Managers and other stakeholders in research and operational challenges.

Essential Functions

1. Daily pricing and analytical support: Prepare pricing for new and existing customers; support decision-making with analytical insights.
2. Maintain tools and inputs for pricing strategies, including models, rate sheets, and system data.
3. Reporting: Support automated and internal dashboards.
4. Annual Price Increase Process: Contribute to carrier and client analyses and system uploads.
5. Collaborate with carrier partners to identify and resolve issues.
6. Provide baseline analysis for client inquiries and support Parcel Operations Managers in stakeholder presentations.
7. Perform weekly analysis of the small parcel business across the network.
8. Assist Customer Service Managers with customer requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years in Pricing experience.
• 2+ years Ryder experience (preferred).
• 2+ years operational experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, DOMO, and advanced strategic analyses.
• Python (advanced, preferred).
• Knowledge of Logistics (intermediate, preferred).
